Flauta a 3 es un método de flauta travesera de iniciación y 1r curso de Grado Elemental pensado para la clase en grupo. Por su contenido, permite aprender a tocar la flauta desde cero, tanto respecto al conocimiento del instrumento como al lenguaje musical. El libro está estructurado en 20 módulos; el orden de presentación del material está determinado por el orden de aparición de las notas. Aunque este libro se puede utilizar al modo tradicional, siguiendo un orden lineal, con la distribución del material por módulos la intención ha sido que los contenidos presentados se puedan combinar escogiendo diferentes apartados de cada módulo hasta adquirir las habilidades deseadas. En cada módulo también se propone trabajar con un juego. El objetivo del juego no es sólo que el trabajo sea más ameno, sino también fomentar la cohesión entre los alumnos y ayudar a consolidar el grupo. Las explicaciones de los ejercicios y los juegos están pensados para una clase colectiva de tres alumnos, pero se pueden adaptar fácilmente a dos, e incluso a un alumno.

' Modules: 20 modules, each organised in two sections:
Repertoire (right-hand page) ' varied pieces in a particular range. There are around 100 pieces, including classical works from the middle ages down to contemporary techniques. There is also a wide variety of folk tunes from all over the world, though with a particular focus on the Catalan traditional repertoire.
Exercises (left-hand page) ' the repertoire in each module is supplemented by a number of creative games and exercises (in which students are asked to write, to compose, to improvise etc.), reinforcing certain technical aspects of the flute and of the language of music.
' Games: some 15 musical games, classified by order of appearance.
' Listening materials: over 40 passages for listening, related to the thematic content of the modules.
' Fingering diagrams for the notes introduced in the book (C3, D3, from E3 to E5, F5 and G5).
