Although most of the piece was found for full instrumentation, a recitative and baritone aria was found only for voice and piano. It was precisely then that Joan Lluís Moraleda undertook the task of providing the remaining instrumentation for this fragment, while always following the original style as closely as possible.
Interestingly, the debut programme leaflet, also found in a private library, listed the piece as anonymous and did not mention the young Ferran Sor, who we know was a Bonapartist and banished. A large volume of work kept him constantly occupied during his travels throughout Europe. Nevertheless, he made numerous unsuccessful attempts to be pardoned and allowed to return home by sending correspondence and compositions to the Kings of Spain.
