1. Consolidating and extending the capabilities of the students in terms of their flute studies and their knowledge of the language and form of music.

-The Units: This book is divided into 17 units. Units 1 to 14 each deal with a particular major or minor key with up to three sharps or flats in the key signature. Unit 15 is devoted to studying sound production. Unit 16 gives the scales and arpeggios for the keys studied. Unit 17 contains short original pieces for developing sight-reading skills.
