[intro] =>
[continguts_generals] => 16 x Sax is a collection of 48 studies for solo saxophone composed by 16 different composers. They are mainly intended for beginning saxophonists. There are three pieces by each composer. Their order is not random; it is determined by each piece's average difficulty. One of the primary goals behind these studies is to help young saxophonists learn to enjoy contemporary music and, at the same time, teach them how to overcome specific technical problems while also making their playing more expressive by exposing them a wide range of new resources. And of course, last but not least, we want to thank all those who made this project possible. And I personally hope these pieces will broaden the young saxophonist's horizons.
