During the first gegants encounters within the Vallès area, to the best of my remembrance, only one out of ten pairs of gegants had a gralla group. This was almost 25 years ago.
Thanks to the aforementioned professionals and to other people, students who want to study traditional instruments, such as flageolet, bagpipe, hurdy-gurdy, accordion or gralla (shawm), luckily have more possibilities these days.
This method is the result of the effort of many people to divulge our instruments, our repertoire and, last but not least, our cultural heritage.
Take a look at it, read it, but don't forget about the importance of a teacher.

This is a collection of dances, mostly partner dances that were originally written for gralla (Schawm) and subsequently rewritten for tarota (Keyless Tenor Schawm) or the other way round. Both, gralla and tarota players, will be able to use each theme as they like. Once the corresponding transposition is done, the tessitures are suitable for both instruments.

La clasificación del nivel de una partitura normalmente viene determinado por el grado de dificultad técnica del instrumento o voz. En los casos de obras para formaciones instrumentales diversas, orquestales, vocales, etc. el nivel se determina atendiendo a la complejidad general de la obra, no a la de sus instrumentos en particular. Es muy importante conocer este criterio porque las obras de conjunto aparecen también en los listados específicos de cada uno de sus instrumentos o voces que participan en él, pero el nivel que se indica es el de la formación instrumental-vocal.
