Ricard Gimeno i Abad
Ricard Gimeno was born in Barcelona in 1962. He completed his music studies in the Conservatori Municipal of Barcelona and received his diploma in music teaching. He also participated in numerous courses and master classes in choral conducting and music pedagogy.He works primarily as a specialist in primary music education at the Escola Pia de Sarrià, and as professor of harmony and choirs at the Municipal Music School of the town of Molins de Rei. He is also associate professor in the didactics of musical expression through plastics and the human body at the Department of Sciences of Education with the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona.
For more than fifteen years he has conducted the 'La Quitxalla' children's' choir, as well as a number of adult choirs (such as the 'Coral Arpegi', 'Coral Baluern', 'Coral Harmonia). He has performed numerous concerts in and around Barcelona.
He is also author of a diverse collection of didactic materials related with the learning of music at the primary and secondary levels, and within the music school.
Ricard Gimeno is a composer as well, with music dedicated especially to children. He is author of more than thirty original songs and six children's' cantatas. ('El petit príncep', la 'Cantata del Camell', 'El ratolí electrònic', 'La síncope perduda', 'Pessigolles' i 'Bruixes').

Located in the very heart of the old town of Barcelona, DINSIC Publicacions Musicals, SL was found in 1988 by Francesca Galofré Mora as a response to her great pedagogical vocation and with the aim of disseminating knowledge and musical production.<br />

Today, with more than twenty years of constant work, the publishing company devotes itself to promoting the publication of several books and materials destined to musical education in all its fields: music schools and conservatories, school in all its levels and university.<br />
<br />
Its collection includes scores ranging from solo parts, literature for chamber ensembles and orchestras to the great symphonic repertoire, as well as works for choir in all its formations. Some of these collections include publications of critical studies in several languages.</div>

Nació en Barcelona en el año 1962. Realizó estudios musicales en el Conservatorio Municipal y la Diplomatura en Magisterio. Asiste a diversos cursos de dirección coral y de pedagogía musical.<br />
Se dedica principalmente a la educación musical: especialista de música en la Educación Primaria (Escola Pia de Sarrià) y profesor de Lenguaje Musical y Canto Coral en la Escola Municipal de Música (Molins de Rei). Es profesor asociado del Departament de Didàctica de l'Expressió Musical, Plàstica i Corporal de la Facultat de Ciències de l'Educació (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).<br />
Ha dirigido la coral infantil 'La Quitxalla' y varias corales de adultos ('Coral Arpegi', 'Coral Baluern', 'Coral Harmonia'...) durante más de 15 años, y ha realizado numerosos conciertos, principalmente en Barcelona.<br />
Es autor de diversos materiales didácticos relacionados con el aprendizaje de la música en la educación primaria y secundaria, y en la escuela de música.<br />
Se dedica también a la composición, especialmente para niños. Es autor de unas treinta canciones originales y de 6 cantatas infantiles ('El petit príncep', la 'Cantata del Camell', 'El ratolí electrònic', 'La síncope perduda', 'Pessigolles' y 'Bruixes').<br />

Located in the very heart of the old town of Barcelona, DINSIC Publicacions Musicals, SL was found in 1988 by Francesca Galofré Mora as a response to her great pedagogical vocation and with the aim of disseminating knowledge and musical production.<br />

Nació en Barcelona en el año 1962. Realizó estudios musicales en el Conservatorio Municipal y la Diplomatura en Magisterio. Asiste a diversos cursos de dirección coral y de pedagogía musical.<br />
Se dedica principalmente a la educación musical: especialista de música en la Educación Primaria (Escola Pia de Sarrià) y profesor de Lenguaje Musical y Canto Coral en la Escola Municipal de Música (Molins de Rei). Es profesor asociado del Departament de Didàctica de l'Expressió Musical, Plàstica i Corporal de la Facultat de Ciències de l'Educació (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).<br />
Ha dirigido la coral infantil 'La Quitxalla' y varias corales de adultos ('Coral Arpegi', 'Coral Baluern', 'Coral Harmonia'...) durante más de 15 años, y ha realizado numerosos conciertos, principalmente en Barcelona.<br />
Es autor de diversos materiales didácticos relacionados con el aprendizaje de la música en la educación primaria y secundaria, y en la escuela de música.<br />
Se dedica también a la composición, especialmente para niños. Es autor de unas treinta canciones originales y de 6 cantatas infantiles ('El petit príncep', la 'Cantata del Camell', 'El ratolí electrònic', 'La síncope perduda', 'Pessigolles' y 'Bruixes').<br />
