Most of his works have been given their first performance in various venues in Catalonia ' his little suite 'Joguines' (Toys) was recorded and broadcast by Ràdio 4 in a performance by the internationally reputed Cuban group Trío Habana.<br/> <br/> <br/> He has been the director of the Municipal Music School in Parets del Vallès (province of Barcelona) since 1989, and has worked with the students there to put on musical shows such as 'El planeta musical' (the musical planet), a musical story of his own, and 'Bandes sonores' (sound tracks), a concert of film music in which acoustic instruments are combined with electronic music.<br/> <br/> In the professional field, he has combined his work as a soloist with his role as a pianist in various ensembles, working in classical music, jazz and rock, while also continuing his work as an arranger for various groups. He is a regular member of the jury panels for musical events in his district, and worked as the musical director of the Joves Colles Geganteres (groups for young people interested in the local 'puppet-giants'-parade' tradition) in Paret, for whom he has written a total of 11 pieces for traditional instruments, ranging from dances for the puppet giants and animals in the parades to music for firework shows",

Located in the very heart of the old town of Barcelona, DINSIC Publicacions Musicals, SL was found in 1988 by Francesca Galofré Mora as a response to her great pedagogical vocation and with the aim of disseminating knowledge and musical production.<br />

Today, with more than twenty years of constant work, the publishing company devotes itself to promoting the publication of several books and materials destined to musical education in all its fields: music schools and conservatories, school in all its levels and university.<br />
<br />
Its collection includes scores ranging from solo parts, literature for chamber ensembles and orchestras to the great symphonic repertoire, as well as works for choir in all its formations. Some of these collections include publications of critical studies in several languages.</div>

Jordi Azagra nace en Barcelona. Sensibilizado en el terreno musical por su madre y descendiente de una familia con tradición musical, se inició en los estudios musicales a la edad de 7 años e ingresó en el Conservatorio Superior de Barcelona un año más tarde, donde obtuvo el título de profesor de piano y posteriormente el título superior de solfeo, combinando dicha actividad con los estudios de carácter general y universitarios.<br />
Durante este período ha combinado los recitales, la docencia y la composición, que abarca desde obras dirigidas a interpretaciones de nivel, a otras para jóvenes intérpretes. En su mayoría han sido estrenadas en distintos auditorios de Catalunya, y en concreto su pequeña suite 'Joguines' (Juguetes), fue difundida y grabada para Ràdio 4 por el Trío Habana, un trío cubano de proyección internacional.<br />
Desde 1989 es director de la Escuela Municipal de Música de Parets del Vallès (Barcelona), con cuyos alumnos ha puesto en escena espectáculos musicales como 'El planeta musical', un cuento musical propio y también 'Bandes sonores' (Bandas sonoras), un concierto de música de películas en el que se combinan los instrumentos acústicos con la electrónica musical.<br />
En el campo profesional ha combinado su actividad como intérprete solista con la de pianista de distintas formaciones, ya clásicas, de jazz o rock, y llevando a cabo, al mismo tiempo, la labor de arreglista musical de varias agrupaciones. Participa asiduamente como miembro de jurado de eventos musicales de la comarca y, desde 1986, es el director musical de les Joves Colles Geganteres (Jóvenes Grupos de Gigantes) de Parets, para quienes ha compuesto un total de 11 piezas para instrumentos tradicionales, desde bailes de gigantes y bestiario hasta música para espectáculos de fuego.</div>
